I had the privilege of working with the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers and EMMEDIA Gallery & Production Society as the Editor-in-Chief of their co-published publication, Luma Quarterly, from 2015-2018. Luma was a quarterly online publication about independent film and media art that included critical essays, news, reviews, event previews, interviews, reflections, and photo/video essays about culturally relevant productions, events and ideas. Luma was active until 2021 and officially concluded in 2024. The publication worked with the community to expand critical dialogue about media art and film from a Western Canadian perspective on an international platform.
